Four members of the Paidia Institute are taking part at this year GameLab at Play09.
Play09 is a festival about the creative use of games and gaming technologies. From 3rd till 5th of December there will be an exhibition, workshops, presentations and a lab with six media artists in Potsdam/Berlin. For a detailed overview of the program have a look at play09.de.
In the GameLab six artists are challenged to develope game installation.
The members of this year’s game lab are:
Thomas Hawranke (PI), Karin Lingnau (PI), Lasse Scherffig (PI), Marek Plichta, Jakob Penca, Jonas Hansen (PI)
A pre-meeting was held in the end of November at Lab.D at the academy of media arts cologne.

Play09 Labor
Auf dem Labortisch liegt ein 2D-Shooter. Er wird analysiert, seziert und in seine Bestandteile zerlegt. Aus seinen Elementarteilen synthetisieren die Forscher des Play09-Labors ein synästhethisches Mehrspielerartefakt.
Die Laboranten dürfen dabei angefasst werden.
